VideoProc – A new one-Stop Video Processing Software

The need to work with video, especially with the iPhone recording in 4K or 5K, makes it increasingly necessary to process those clips at the maximum speed possible, so that we can dedicate what we like, recording moments that we want to remember.

The great advantage of applications like VideoProc is that they support all video formats and are capable of exporting to practically any format we want, whether for iPhone, iPad, TV-VideoProc is available for Mac and PC.

But the distinctive advantage of VideoProc is that it is also accelerated by hardware, which allows a process speed that can approach 50% with respect to other applications accelerated by software.

In addition, VideoProc allows the most common operations with video, such as editing, cutting, dividing, merging or applying filters. It also allows you to resize videos recorded with the iPhone and decode and encode HEVC video.

If you wonder what HEVC is, because you’re starting to hear it everywhere and you do not know what it means, get ready because the thing is going to get more. HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) is another way of calling H.265 or MPEG-H Part2, and it is the specifications that define a video compression format, successor to H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC. That is, when you first heard H.264, now you will start to hear H.265 or HEVC.

How VideoProc works

VideoProc allows you to process all those images that the current life offers, from which you record with the iPhone or with the GoPro, digital camera, drone, baby monitoring cameras, You can add screenshot videos, webcams, videos downloaded from YouTube, … to create your own movie in the fastest and easiest way possible.

With VideoProc you can do basic editing: you can process the HD or 4K shots of your iPhone or iPad, cut clips, merge, shorten, rotate, invert, change the proportion in which they are filmed and even apply effects to your videos.

VideoProc can do advanced editing: you can stabilize the video image, eliminate background noise, make a capture, create animated GIFs, correct fisheye distortions, force audio and video synchronization, add a mark to the water, adjust color and audio, accelerate or slow down a clip from 0.1 to 16x, etc.

VideoProc is not a simple application. If you can make a criticism, is that, by incorporating many functions, the interface is full of buttons that hide more options.

Taking advantage of all the capabilities of VideoProc is going to take a while to research.

Once you have the clips sorted, VideoProc offers you a huge collection of output formats, both video and audio. As usual in these programs, are on the one hand those that allow output to the video for a specific device (iPhone, Xbox, etc.) to the options according to standards (H264, HEVC, etc.) that allow greater versatility (MP4, MKV, AVI, WMV, etc.)

The great advantage of VideoProc over other competing programs is that its acceleration through hardware makes the processing of all the clips is done at impressive speeds.

Other features of VideoProc

Although we have focused on the advantages when it comes to processing and “uniforming” video clips from different sources, VideoProc does not stop there.

VideoProc also allows you to convert DVDs into files that can then be processed in the application (or viewed on the computer).

The application includes the function of “downloader”, so that, given a URL -of a video on Youtube, Vimeo, etc.- download it to our hard disk so that we can then use the part we need and incorporate it into our assembly ( or to be able to enjoy videos without internet connection).

Finally, it also allows recording the screen, which is perfect for making tutorials, and even allows PIP (Picture in Picture) with the camera of the computer to record while we explain what happens on the screen. It also allows you to use exclusively the computer’s camera (without the need to include the screen) which can be useful if you want to record a podcast and process the shots all from the same interface.

Although VideoProc is not a program specialized in these functions, it is appreciated that they are included because they can be a perfect complement when we are trying to build a video-narration. If you want to transfer videos from your iPhone without having to go through iTunes, you can use a utility like DearMob iPhone Manager 5K.
